Accessibility statement

Salonera meets WCAG 2.1 AA on both the public booking surface and the salon dashboard. This page states the compliance level we have tested, known limitations, and how to report issues. The statement is revised on every significant product change.

Compliance level

The public booking surface (landing, salon profile `/[slug]`, full booking flow, privacy, cookies, subprocessors, contact, this accessibility statement) is tested against WCAG 2.1 AA with axe-core and passes with no known violations as of May 30, 2026.

The salon dashboard (calendar, clients, services, staff, settings, sales) is also tested against WCAG 2.1 AA and passes with no known violations as of May 23, 2026.

Automated WCAG 2.1 AA scanning runs on every pull request via Playwright + axe-core (`e2e/accessibility-baseline.spec.ts` for the public surface, `e2e/accessibility-baseline-dashboard.spec.ts` for the dashboard). Regressions block merge until resolved.

Keyboard and screen-reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA) is performed manually on the booking flow before every release.

Known limitations

Some state transitions in the calendar and booking dialog aren't yet announced consistently through ARIA live regions. The initial page state is free of known violations; ARIA-live applies only after the user triggers actions like validation or booking.

Third-party widgets (Cloudflare Turnstile, Stripe Checkout) are controlled by the vendor and may diverge from our own accessibility practices.

Admin surfaces (`/dashboard`, `/businesses`, `/users`) are not included in the baseline — they are used only by platform operators and are not prioritized for B2C compliance.
